We took the cats to the vet today to be spayed/neutered. Will hopefully help them get on with each other and to yowl less (plus stopping the place being overrun with kittens of course)
Sambuca is a bit crazy in the coconut, she is as nice as pie one minute and then lashing out the next - at Pernod or at us. We haven't introduced them to Poppy yet in the hope that she might calm down with less hormones wizzing around, we are worried she might lash out and hurt her. Pernod at least is a another cat and able to anticipate and dodge although I think living in a limited space with Sambuca is starting to wear on his nerves. Possibly being allowed outside will calm her down also and will certainly give the two catsmore space from each other. It should be possible in a few days once they get over the trauma of the operations.
