We have finally got round to bottling the beer we put on weeks ago
It has been ready to go in the bottles for some time but we have been busy with going back to the UK then crazy animal week where we got the chickens, cats and dog.
We process we used was slightly different to normal. Previously we have only had one brewing container so we have bottled straight from it and added the priming sugar (which generates the fizz in the bottle) to each bottle separately. However now that we brewed in a different container we were able to decant the beer off the lees (the dead yeast that has sunk to the bottom), add the sugar to the whole lot and then bottle as normal from there on.
We have drunk some of the previous batch that we bottled just before putting this one on to brew. They are very tasty.
