Rhoda is in the UK

I am currently in Woodbridge with Lorna so not blogging on farm things.
Doug has been having lots of visitors while I am away.
First there was someone we bumped in to collecting chestnuts on our land one of the times we were searching for escaped pigs. He was mortified as he didn't realise the previous owner had sold up and he had permission to collect chestnuts from the previous owner. He came round with lots of myrtille (blueberries) and myrtille products (jam etc) by way of apology.
Next the previous owner came round. He was going to move abroad but after a few months decided he had made a mistake and has now bought a new place close by - he has promised to invite us round once he is moved in.
Finally there was one of the (french) neighbours who brought round some cepe mushrooms which he had picked on our land to show us what they look like. The french are obsessed with finding cepe. There are some poisonous ones that look similar so it is good to have a local show you what you are looking for.
