Pork Chops in Milk Recipe

2 pork chops
2 cups milk
1 chopped onion
2 cloves garlic
Slice of lemon (or orange)

Put everything in a pan or oven proof dish sized so that the milk will cover or nearly cover the chops.
Bring to the boil on stove top or in the oven at high temperature. Then reduce temperature until just simmering and cook for about 2 hours. The milk will curdle and not look very appetising initially. When ready it still looks a bit lumpy but the mixture has turned a golden colour and the chops have browned a bit (less so if cooking on stove top rather than in the oven). Don't let boil dry, add a little water if necessary.
Serve with potatoes (mashed? roast?) or rice.

Much more delicious than it looks!
