Cute bunnies on the lawn - and in the pot!

The bunnies have been having a nice time hopping around on the lawn in the new runs.
We have also killed and eaten our first two baby bunnies. They were not this litter, although these ones are 10 days older they are a little smaller. The ones we ate were 10 weeks old and about 1kg alive or 500g dead, skinned, gutted, deheaded etc.
I couldn't decide on the favorite recipe so did the back legs fried in a crispy coating (kentucky fried rabbit) and the rest in a stew with a creamy white wine sauce.

We decided that next time we will let the meat rest for a day after killing and also that we will drain the blood after the killing blow. They were very tasty though and it was exciting to finally have some output from project bunny!
