The car is broken!

The clutch on the car has something wrong with it. It is kind of ok in 1st and 2nd gear, but in the others when you accelerate there is hardly any power but the engine revs faster. I took it to the garage today and the workshop guy took it for a quick drive and came back saying it wasn't right at all. I have left it there for them to look at - I think they have to pretty much dismantle the car to do that. As it is only 2 years old it should hopefully be covered by the warrantee. He said he couldn't say whether it was or not until they have looked and spoken with Nissan head office. It is madness if it is not covered! We bought a new car so we wouldn't have problems with it!

By great fortune a friend was in Tarbes at the same time and was able to give us a lift home (I had just picked Aidan up from the airport) as well as lend us a car for a little while! We are very grateful!
