Mating bunnies again (and again and again!)

I was thinking that sensible people would have given up by now and resigned themselves to the fact that they are not rabbit breeders. However we are persisting! I put one of the females (who was last in with him 32 days ago) in to the males cage. They spent some time running around and boy rabbit was very keen but still rather misguided. He then seemed to get the right idea but the female wouldn't stay still long enough. I separated them and tried again later. I thought maybe if the female got used to being carried back and forwards she would be more happy with it. The 2nd time things seemed to go a bit better and boy rabbit went at it enthusiastically before falling off with a groan in a swoon. This is a good sign apparently. We will put her in one more time this evening then wait another month to see if there is any result. Slow process.
