110g soft butter
90g caster sugar
45g soft brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla essence
210g plain flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
100g chocolate chips
Cream the butter and sugar, add the vanilla and egg and mix until smooth.
Add the baking powder and salt to the flour and add the flour mix to the wet ingredients. Stir gently until just comined.
Stir in the chocolate chips
Put blobs on to a baking sheet covered in baking paper.
Cook at 170°C for abot 10 mins until lightly browned. They will still feel soft but should crisp up as they cool.
