There is something weird going on with the sweetcorn! We have planted two beds. One at the front and one at the back of the plot. The sweetcorn are the same from the same packet in the two. BUT they get smaller as they go further back in the plot!
Last year we only had them at the back and they were all stunted with funny little corn on them. The trees do shade the back of the plot - both from the sun and the rain. We need to trim them back!
Other things seem to do ok in the more shady and less wet area.
