Doug is in Londres!

His flight was horribly late, but he made it eventually. There is amazing website that you can track flights on.

I happened to look at it just as he landed and could see the plane taxiing to the gate. Apparently they had to wait for ages to have it connected up properly so they could get off though...

We have palmed the dog and other animals off on to various kind friends and Doug has come to London for the bank holiday.
Mainly we seem to have been eating and drinking. French food is lovely, but there is not much variety and around us there is very little spicy or asian foor.
We have had:
Thai Curry that the local pub do. They very kindly kept the kitchen open until Doug got there despite him being 2 hours late!

Dim sum, char sui pork buns and a variety of other things at Ping Pong (St.Kathrines dock)

Curry at Gaylords near Bond Street. Thoroughly recommend it.

Followed by nice beer at the Bree Louise (a favorite port of call when cycling from the city to home in Camden)

Sushi (at Yo Sushi)

Chinese Crispy Duck is planned for this evening.

We have also met up with friends and done good tourist things including the Tower of London, The British Museum, The Tate Modern and a concert at the Wigmore Hall (Heath Quartet playing Haydn, Janacek and Dvorak). More photos to follow.
