Rain rain and more rain

We haven't managed to go skiing this weekend because it has been so wet. I think this has been a mixture of rain and snow in the ski area so will be interesting to see what conditions are like when it finally stops raining.

We took the dog for a walk yesterday as she has spent to long lying front of the fire and was tending towards manic. We were also going out in the evening so wanted her tired to avoid the whole house being chewed to pieces in our absence. 

The weather was quite obliging and gave us a break in the rain, it didn't start up again until we were in the car home.

This is near Payolle, up a small road we hadn't explored before.

We followed a path that kind of faded out, then had to hack through the forest

The dog pointing at moles, probably not a traditional prey for gsps, but she seems to enjoy it and vy very occasionally catches one.
