The boat in Woodbridge

Lorna's boat (lookfar) has been hoicked out of the water so Aidan and I went down and collected various things off it to stop them getting damp over the winter. She is a Jaguar 21 and is a lot of fun to sail - more like a big dinghy than a keel boat.
We had a slight setback getting there because I managed to leave the lights on on the car. Not the main lights but the parking light. I didn't even know it existed and turned the knob round too far when turning the lights off. Luckly the guys who run Deben Marina are lovely and drove up to the car park and jump started it for me. Phew!!
The tides are springs so it all looks very scenic
The marina is a few miles up river. In the summer there are lots of boats moored here but they are mainly in the marina or out of the water now.
We had lunch in the Ferry Quay Cafe or the Caravan Cafe as we know it. The 'small' breakfast is HUGE and very tempting to have every day as the cafe is just a few minutes walk from Lorna's flat.
