Teriyaki Sauce Recipe

Makes 6 servings


 250ml soy sauce

110g brown sugar

3tsp fresh grated ginger

2 tsp fresh minced garlic

2 tablespoons golden syrup

2 tsp sesame oil

4 tbsp mirin (or wine if you don’t have mirin)

100ml water with 35g corn flour mixed in


Combine all the ingredients and heat slowly. Simmer for 10 mins 

Serve over rice and pork or salmon or whatever you fancy.
