Bear has got in with Venus and Myrtle

It seems one of them was probably in heat. It is annoying, if you want him to go through a gate where there is normally a wire he absolutely won’t, but if he wants through a fence he will go through despite the electric shock.
We are not 100% sure yet whether Bear is mature enough to father calves. But it seems likely he is, so we are probably looking at a calf end of Feb next year. She is 10 days short of a year old so it should be ok...

Once Bear had company he finally decided he could take some cow nuts from a trug - normally he won't put his head in it
