Our chickens reliably lay far fewer eggs on Sundays - it is obviously their day of rest!

We have been getting six or seven a day recently. Today we got three.

We lived in London for many years and loved it, but as we got older we found we were spending more and more time traveling out of London to do outdoors things. Over a number of years we built up a dream of living in the countryside with a selection of animals. We are now giving it a go on the basis that if you don't try you will never know. This blog is to keep friends and family up to date with our trials and triumphs!
