Harris got tangled in the electric fence overnight. When Doug found him in the morning he thought he was dead, but it turned out he was still alive - just. It seems likely that Helora (the highland cow visiting to keep Hainoa company) pushed him in to the fence as she then escaped over his prone body (Doug managed to recover her before she went too far)
Doug has given him food and water which he has taken, but he still cannot walk. He tries to get up from time to time, but with the land being so steep he just ends up rolling back towards the fence. Doug is going to try to move him in to the barn before nightfall, but he is heavy for one person.
We are very worried as he is a lovely friendly fellow, and hasn't even had a chance yet to perform his duties (mating season is just starting).
