Pizza and Popcorn

I had never made pizza or popcorn and for some reason felt a sudden urge to try both. The first lot of popcorn I did on the wood burning stove, but it was quite difficult and the stove had to be cranked much hotter than we really needed it. So I made subsequent ones on the gas cooker (once you start eating popcorn you just can't stop). I didn't take photos but it went really well and was very yummy. I rather under estimated how much the kernels swell up when they pop, so there was a bit of a pan overflowing incident.

The pizza was yummy too. The first one had a rather funny base as it was a bit crumbly but the second came out very well.

Recipe for the base
200g White bread flour
50g Semolina
1/2 sachet bread yeast (3.5g)
1/2 tsp salt
150ml warm water (more or less)

Put everything except the water in a bowl and mix
Add the water bit at a time and mix in until you have a soft dough
Kneed for 10 mins
Leave to rise for about an hour or until doubled in size
Roll out and put on your pizza tray or whatever you are going to cook it on. It should be something like 5mm thick (more or less depending on whether you prefer thin or thicker crust).
Oil it by pouring a bit of oil on and rubbing it around with your fingers.
Leave 10 mins or so.
Add the topping (I did grated cheese then slices of tomato, then ham and goats cheese. I added an egg about 5 mins from the end of the cooking time.
Cook in a hot oven (250C) for about 20 mins or until it looks done.
