Sheep are here!!

The guy we bought the sheep off has delivered them. It took the poor guy three attempts to find our house, he has probably met more of our neighbors than us! It is quite tricky to give directions , there are so many driveways and little roads and very few distinguishing features (turn right at the tree then left at the cow)
They came in a box in the back of his car. Bit squished in but they seemed quite comfortable and settled in quickly. When we went down this evening they were happly munching grass.
I was fretting a bit that they won't find the water bucket as it is in one corner but the previous owner assured me they would. He also assures me they don't need shearing as he only does his every few years, they look like they will be MELTINGLY hot in the current weather but we will see. I have seen mention that you can roo Ouessant, so interested to see whether this is true (first catch your sheep...) otherwise will see what other people suggest and maybe trim them down a bit.

Tiree lifted in to her new home

Setting off to take a look around

Coll going in to join her (he is cuter than he looks here)

Inspecting the fence (looking for weak points??)
We have some exciting news - it looks like we will be getting some friends for Coll and Tiree. They are currently a couple of hours drive away and we hope to pick them up on Tuesday. We better get making more hay... and fencing some more fields!!
